Who doesn't like to feel an immediate sense of comfort upon entering a room?

I have to admit that one of the reasons I started to appreciate cottage style is that I have 2 small children and 2 dogs. As you can imagine, the members of my household are going to put their share of dents and dings onto all the pieces around my house. I decided to go with the flow and start painting and distressing furniture for my own home.... that way the future dents and dings of my children would just blend right in!

As I changed my decor, I realized that I was not only happier with the look and style of my surroundings, but I felt much more at home and comfortable with my new works. For not so subtle reasons (but maybe because I grew up surrounded by country charm!) I was feeling the most at home in my own house that I had ever felt.

I wanted to share those feelings of nostalgia, warmth, and coziness with others and so I began painting pieces and reselling them at affordable prices.

Over the past few years I have developed a passion for what I do. I strive for beauty in imperfection, and believe that character is born out of having lived a full life. I try to portray that in the pieces we paint and give them the character of having lived a long life and a story to tell. I know that you will be happy with our pieces.
